EXO
This modern ice-pack redesign addresses the common risk of ice burn by incorporating a clear visual cue that signals when the pack should be removed. Designed for both safety and comfort, the pack remains highly flexible, allowing it to conform seamlessly to a wide range of body contours.
Internal gel pouches visually indicate when the recommended application time has concluded through a clear color change. This approach significantly reduced the potential for user error.
For injuries requiring greater surface coverage, multiple Exo devices can be linked together to expand treatment area.
PROTOTYPING
Multiple flexible connection systems were explored and tested to evaluate adaptability, range of motion, and expansion capabilities.
